Byron Colby Barn

Byron Colby Barn

Good Things:
- The rustic, casual look
- Clean, cute, unique
- Ceremony and reception in the same place
- Has Gazebo, Courtyard or lake ceremony options
- Holds up to 180 people
- Bring your own food and liquor
- 10 minutes from highway
- Saturday rental fee: $2795 for 5 hours
- Rent the gazebo for $270 and you get the space for additional hour (event time = 6 hours)
- free rehearsal and set up/decoration time as early as 9 am that day (or pay $195 for day before)

The only thing I am worried about...
- The layout. It only holds 130 on the bottom floor
(There is a loft on the top... and that is where you throw the rest of the party (48 people), however, once the dancing starts then we can move tables and people can come down or hang around wherever)

I've pulled a bunch of pictures from various other weddings that have posted their pics online:

 Wedding in the courtyard
 Wedding at the Gazebo

For the layout.. I think even though it will hold 180, it is better at about 120-130. Here's a pic of someone's seating chart:

  1. I've been scouring the internet for pictures to get a better layout idea for our wedding. I didn't come across a pic of the map. So thanks for that!
